Jeff Nelson and Jamie Moyer crossed paths during their careers pitching for the Seattle Mariners. Then Moyer went on to defy Father Time by turning in some stellar seasons for the Philadelphia Phillies before arm troubles shut him down.
Nelson, meanwhile, still holds the M’s record for games pitched (383) after having worn the M’s uniform during three different stints. While both are now out of the big leagues, the former M’s hurlers still own Seattle-area homes — and both pitchers have those homes listed for sale in the Seattle area.

123 Undisclosed, Seattle WA
For sale: $6,750,000
Drafted in 1984, Jamie Moyer played over four decades and at 47became the oldest pitcher to throw a shutout in 2010. Moyer spent most of his career with the Mariners, and purchased a home in the Magnolia neighborhood. Moyer’s home has been on the market since 2009, when Moyer moved his family to Florida. First listed in 2009 for $7,950,000, the price has dropped a few times to its present price of $6,750,000.
Built in 1933, the 7-bedroom, 4.5-bath home sits on a nearly half-acre private lot with a pool, pool house and mature landscaping. The home was extensively remodeled, but retains much of its period charm with leaded windows, crown moldings, vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors. See photos of Jamie Moyer’s home:
