Comedian David Spade is looking to part ways with one of his Southern California properties. The veteran TV funnyman, who currently lends his comedic expertise to the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement, has listed his oceanfront Malibu, California home for $13.5 million. According to AOL Real Estate, Spade owns a sizeable spread in West Hollywood and has used the La Costa Beach villa primarily as a vacation home since acquiring the property in 2005 for $9.3 million.
Spade has sunk a considerable amount of money into remodeling the 3,700-square-foot beach house, which features hardwood flooring, custom spiral staircase and a total of four fireplaces. Adjacent to the main house is a secluded pool and spa area, as well as a combination art studio and workout room that is connected to a two-car garage. Adding to the appeal of the home is spacious indoor-outdoor private patio that enjoys picture-perfect ocean views.
