Mel Gibson has put his Spanish style Lavender Hill Farm mansion in Malibu on the market. It is located in the gated community Sierra Retreat and overlooks the ocean. Price tag for this beauty is $14.5 m.
For once this is a celebrity home that looks like a real home, not just a collection of expensive items scattered around. The gardens are just adorable - very natural setting with some well-designed functional areas which turn into an enchanted forest at night when lit.
The interior also looks rather authentic with lot of wood. I also like the cute fireplaces, checkered tile floor in the bathroom and the shape of the kitchen. This house really looks authentically rustic and cozy.
