Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer, who has threatened to retire from the NFL if the team doesn’t trade him, has sold his home just outside the city for a reported $1.9 million.
The 5 bedroom, 5 bath home features a solarium, putting green, and pond, and features views of nearby Lake Isabella. The home is on five acres in the exclusive Ferdinand’s Field 20 miles north of Paul Brown Stadium, where Palmer played what he hopes is his last home game as a Bengal on December 26th of last year.
In his eight years with the Bengals, Carson Palmer threw for 22,694 yards, with 144 touchdowns versus 110 interceptions. The first round draft pick led Cincy to two playoff appearances and holds a number of franchise records for passing. After the Bengals 4-12 finish last season, Palmer demanded to be traded. So far team owner Mike Brown has refused his request, leading to Palmer’s threat to retire.
