California’s Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom is moving to Marin County. Just months after selling his Ashbury Heights mini-mansion, the former Mayor of San Francisco and his wife, actress Jennifer Siebel-Newsom, are headed for the hills after spending $2.145 million on a sleek mid-century modern home in Kentfield, California.
Designed by famous Bay Area architect Worley Wong in 1950, the Newsoms’ new home is nestled along the hillside on more than 1.3 acres of land that give way to incredible views of Mount Tam and the East Bay. The three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath features a flowing 1,800-square-foot floor plan that includes a spacious kitchen area, living room and dining room. The exterior of the Newsoms’ new house offers plenty of entertaining options with an stylish pool and spa, complete with a trellised patio that receives shade from one of the many olive trees found on the property.
