In a sign that the ongoing NBA lockout may be taking a toll on the league’s players, Miami Heat forward Mike Miller has put his West Palm Beach, Florida property on the market. Fresh off of signing a 5-year, $25 million contract with the Heat in 2010, the 11-year NBA veteran paid $5.4 million for the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom Mediterranean mansion. He has listed the Pompano Beach property for $8.995 million.
Set on a lot of more than a quarter-of-an acre, Miller’s waterfront property features views of the Atlantic Ocean. A private boat dock offers access to Hillsboro Bay, while the outdoor pool connects to a marble-laden wet bar.
The interior of Miller’s 9,968-square-foot pad features cathedral-style ceilings and marble running throughout the home, and includes a large den, media room and butlers quarters. The spacious master suite offers not one, but two master baths, highlighted by a raised Roman bathtub.

He's putting it on the market because it's very likely the new amnesty clause they're working on the current labor negociations will give the Heat the liberty of terminating his contract, albeit a bad one altogether.
