Couples’ home recently hit the La Quinta real estate market for $4,195,000, but he’s not leaving the luxe course. He’s only listed this home in preparation to move into a new custom home he’s building in the Madison Club development, according to the L.A. Times.

The Seattle-raised Couples has a reputation for being laid back — perhaps part of the reason why the champ has been able to stick around and play such good golf for so long. Couples hit the pro golf circuit in 1980, winning his first PGA Tour victory in 1983 en route to 14 PGA tour wins including collecting the coveted green jacket with his 1992 Masters’ Tournament victory.
