Celebrity real-estate flippers Tom Brady [stats] and Gisele Bundchen are making another pass at selling their Back Bay pied-a-terre.
The New England Patriots [team stats] QB/QT has, once again, put his posh penthouse on Beacon Street up for sale, but this time he’s dropped his price to $10.5 million, $400,000 less than his $10.9 million asking price in 2009.
Even the MVP has to bow to the soft real estate market, we guess ...
The 5,311-square-foot model manse overlooking the Charles River boasts three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths over two floors. But there is so, so much more ...
The top floor of this vintage limestone manse is the “grand living area” with two gas fireplaces and a marvy media room with top-of-the-line techie equipment that is not included in the sale. Perfect for watching film, we assume ...
There’s a culinista’s dream kitchen with a center island and a less formal great room with another fireplace. A staircase leads to a landscaped roof deck with panoramic views of the Charles. There’s a copper-clad solarium with two skylights and an outdoor kitchen. The roof deck’s furniture is being excluded from the sale as well, according to the real estate listing.
The bedrooms include a massive master suite with his-and-her dressing rooms and a deep soaking tub, where Gisele birthed young Benjamin Brady in 2009. There’s also a steam shower, separate vanities and a gas fireplace.
Fixtures in the third bedroom are excluded from the sale. Ditto for the artwork in the grand foyer. However, the $10.5 million asking price includes four garage parking spaces.
Taxes on Tom and Gi’s manse are $73,214 per year and the monthly condo fee — which includes utilities — is $8,218.38, the MLS report states.
Tom, who didn’t have much luck attracting a buyer in ’09, has switched real estate agents this time around. Allison Mazer of Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, who wouldn’t comment on the listing, is shopping the posh pad.
Newly coiffed Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has had quite a season so far: at press time he leads the league in passing yards and his primary receiver, Wes Welker, is on track to shatter the NFL record for receiving yards and receptions. So it's no surprise the football star—and current Uggs spokesperson—is trying to extend his luck to the game of real estate. He and supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen are trying (again) to unload their Back Bay, Boston penthouse for $400K less than they wanted in 2009, according to a story in today's Boston Herald. Now listed for $10.5M, the 5,300-square-foot three-bedroom digs are located in the 1900 bow-front limestone manse that Brady bought for $6.23M in 2006 and subsequently converted into condos. Notable features of his two-floor top unit: a solarium, a roof deck with an outdoor kitchen, a teched-out media room, his-and-hers dressing rooms, a steam shower, and very tub where Mom gave birth to their baby boy a couple of years ago. Not to mention, of course, a state-of-the-art gym. Naturally, we can only ogle the beautiful people's lives as outsiders—no interior pics to be found.
