Lady Gaga in no baby rush

Lady Gaga has no desire to become a mother in the near future as she wants to release "at least 10 more albums" before falling pregnant.

The Poker Face hitmaker admits she does want a family one day, but she is too busy focusing on her career to think about settling down.

Speaking on Britain's The Jonathan Ross Show, she says, "I'm a maternal person but I'm not feeling the urge to be pregnant. Some day I will but not now.

"Oh my gosh, the fans would kill me. I'm just not ready. I really want to make at least 10 more albums before I do something like that."

Gaga, who has had an on-off relationship with Luc Carl, also hints she is content in a relationship, adding, "You know I don't talk about my love life but I'm very happy."

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta or well known as Lady Gaga was born on March 20th 1986. She is an American singer, songwriter and musician. Gaga was born in Yokers, New York but grew up in Mahattan. She got her stage name when music producer Rob Fusari compared her vocal style to Freddie Mercury and took the name Gaga from the Queen song "Radio Ga Ga".

"I was always an entertainer. I was a ham as a little girl and I'm a ham today," says Lady GaGa.

Her album "Born This Way" (2011) sold over 1 million copies in the first week. Amazon sold 440,000 copies of the album in its first two days at a price of 99 cents (at a loss of over $3 million). This contributed to the album's 662,000 digital sales. However, in the second week the album experienced an 84% sales decrease and a 94% digital sales drop. In it's third week the album had a 42% sales decrease and, in the fourth week sales of of the album decreased by another 33%.

Lady Gaga is already a VMA icon. Since she first made her VMA debut in 2009, she has become a force to be reckoned with. She annually makes headlines for her fierce sense of style, her fierce sense of self and the fact that she's always willing to do the unexpected. That combination has made her a fan favorite. And, she said those qualities are an extension of her as a celebrity.

Gaga is nominated for Best Female Video and Best Video With a Message for "Born This Way," as well as Best Art Direction and Best Choreography for "Judas." in 2011.

Lady Gaga leased this 6 bedroom, 8 bathroom Mediterranean estate in October of 2009. According to listing information the high-walled and gated residence, located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, has 6,143 square feet of interior living space. Amenities include a double height entry with marble floors and a curving staircase, french doors throughout, an office/ library that opens to the pool terrace with outdoor kitchen. The hillside property has a resort-style swimming pool and spa with a terrace that hangs over a canyon with unobstructed panoramic views of the city.
