When we last left off on the Mike Miller home front back in November, the Miami Heat forward was asking $8.995 million for the oceanfront Pompano Beach, FL property. Well, it appears that the NBA veteran, who is currently in the midst of an Eastern Conference Finals showdown with the Boston Celtics, will now be offer up to the highest bidder. The auction, which will be conducted byPlatinum Luxury Auctions, is set for June 30th, where Miller’s luxury home will be sold to the highest bidder.
One of the more coveted homes in Broward County given its “unique location within the Hillsboro Inlet,” Miller’s three-story manse measures some 9,000-square-feet in size, with six bedrooms and eight full baths. Beyond its climate-controlled cigar and wine room, elevator, game parlor and various luxe finishes, the real appeal might very well be the 2,700-square-foot finished outdoor area, which boasts a swim-up wet bar and other fun features for entertaining.
Miller has hit the floor in all thirteen of the Heat’s playoff games to date after averaging 6.1 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 3.0 apg in 39 regular season appearances. Arguably his best playoff performance during the ongoing postseason came in the second game of the opening round series against the New York Knicks, when the forward hit 3-of-5 from beyond the arc and finished with 11 points to go along with 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
