Ne-Yo was born October 18, 1979 in Camden, Arkansas. Ne-Yo has had great success both as a R&B-pop artist, and as a song writer. In My Own Words, Ne-Yo's debut album, was released in 2006. The album debuted at #1 on Billboard 200. Ne-Yo's single "So Sick" reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
