Rocker Chris Daughtry rose to fame in 2006 by making it to the final four of the American Idol talent competition. Daughtry's performances made a big impression and he was quickly signed to a recording contract with RCA Records following the competition.Daughtry was born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, but now resides in Oak Ridge, North Carolina with his wife Deanna and their two children.
Built in 2004, the Daughtry's two-story brick home has four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one half, media room, exercise room, salt water pool with gunite/Pebble Tech finish, spa, and even a private putting green.
Chris Daughtry released his self-titled debut album in November of 2006. The album became the fastest selling debut rock album in history by selling more than 1 million copies after just 5 weeks. The album reached #1 on the Billboard charts only a few weeks later.
