Hilary Swank's Pacific Palisades House

Daily mail reported that Hilary Swank has splashed out on this Spanish-style 5-bedroom mansion in Pacific Palisades CA at a cost of $4 million. I find it a bit confusing as it looks the same as the house she was reported to have bought in March 2007 for $5.8 (even then it looked like a good deal as the listing price was nearly $7.5m). If she didn't buy the house until now she certainly got value for her money - unlike so many other (celebrity) buyers in the LA region.

Anyway, the house looks absolutely fabulous on the outside and I would love to see how she will, or already might have decorated it inside. The seller's decor seemed a bit nondescript, but hopefully Hilary is able to add more personal touch and the great style she normally possesses.

Dennis Quaid's French-Style Equstrian Estate

The images of Dennis Quaid's French style equestrian property are fantastic. This place has such a countryside feel despite being just minutes from Sunset Boulevard -starting with the rustic double gate entrance and leafy gardens.

The interior follows the same theme with creamy French style mixed with some more formal French-looking pieces. And what a lovely country kitchen and cute pendant lights, which can be seen recurring in couple of different areas.

This home also seems to take properly into account the kids as the swimming pool is fenced and one can see a little playgound area for them, not to talk about the horses. A child's heaven I would say with all the space to run around!
