Star Wars princess Natalie Portman is selling her modest, 7-room Long Island home for $2.2 million. She has lived on Long Island since she was a child, and in this home for the past five years. I love when celeb houses hit the market because then we all get to peek inside and see how they live!
I don’t know where I imagined Natalie Portman would live, but it wasn’t here. It doesn’t look like she actually spends much time in this house, but maybe she doesn’t. She also owns a condo in Manhattan with a view of the Hudson.
It’s not really how you’d expect a movie star to live, is it? Of course, maybe she doesn’t think so, either, which may be why she’s moving!
Natalie Portman Trivia:
- She was born in Jerusalem. Real name: Natalie Hershlag.
- She’s been a vegetarian since she was 8.
- She speaks Hebrew fluently, as well as conversational French, Japanese, Spanish, and German.
- Fashion designer Zac Posen refers to her as his “muse.”
Have you seen her new boyfriend? She’s dating indie singer Devendra Banhard (shown here strolling through the West Village of NYC in early April; via US Magazine). Hmmm. I didn’t imagine her dating this guy any more than I pictured her living in that Long Island house. Natalie is full of surprises.
