Katy Perry's LA Pad also on the Market

There was a bit of a quiet time on the celebrity real estate market until this week when many stars have been noted putting their houses on the market. This time is Katy Perry and new husband Russell Brand. He actually bought her the house in Los Feliz a couple of years ago when they were dating, and looks like they might make it even if they get their asking price for the house ($3.395 M).

This house is very unlike the sweet and glittery image of Katy Perry - a gated 1920's Spanish villa with a rather classic look on the outside. The interior is somewhat surprisingly filled with shades of white and contemporary furniture.

Another house that I like a lot! The grounds are rather small (less than half an acre) but the swimming pool is lovely, there is even a children's playground and great views of the impressive LA skyline.

Katy Perry, Russell Brand Sell Their Home in LA for $3 Million

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have put up their Los Angeles home for sale for $3.3 million, according to property listings.

The home, which is a 1922 Mediterranean-style house with a swimming pool, includes 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The couple purchased the home in 2009, prior to their October 2010 wedding in India. Photos of the property can be seen here.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the couple is selling the home because they plan on making New York their permanent residence.

The house is 4,700 square feet and includes a pool. It is located in the Los Feliz area of the city and the "California Gurls" singer converted the three-car garage into a closet for her wardrobe. Another Perry touch includes a vintage pink refrigerator in the kitchen, however that is not included in the sale, according to the newspaper.

The home also features hardwood floors, is inside a gated community, and has a private spa.

Brand, 35, and Perry, 26, got married on October 23, 2010 in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Rajasthan, India, where Brand also proposed to the singer. The two have appeared nothing but blissful since they began dating in September 2009 after the singer performed on the MTV Video Music Awards that were hosted by Brand.

The singer is set to star out the North American leg of her "California Dreams" tour in June, which includes concerts in more than 40 cities.
