Atlanta-based rapper and producer Demetrius Stewart aka Shawty Redd was charged with the shooting death of a man on New Year's Day 2010. Shawty Redd allegedly shot the man during a confrontation while at a home where Shawty Redd has been residing in Hampton, Georgia. Shawty Redd is claiming he acted in self-defense.The two-story, 4,510 square foot brick home, owned by RHB Inc. was completed in 2007 and was purchased by RHB Inc. in July of the same year.
